Dominik Szoboszlai has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract at Liverpool, tying the Hungarian international to Anfield until the summer of 2031. The 25-year-old had two years still remaining on his previous deal, but talks over an extension picked up pace in recent weeks and have now been wrapped up well ahead of schedule.

With Szoboszlai’s future now settled, attention turns to Liverpool’s opening weeks of the new Premier League season. The Reds begin their 2026/27 campaign away at Newcastle before home fixtures against Nottingham Forest and Fulham, an away trip to Ipswich, and a stand-out early test at home to Manchester City in October.
